Barcelona taxi by the hour

One hourly rate covers the car, the driver, the fuel, the tolls and all the waiting in between. There is a two-hour minimum and the clock only runs while I am with you.

Luggage stays in the car between stops, which is the main reason cruise passengers use it: you can see Park Güell and the Sagrada Família without dragging suitcases through either.

Business days with three or four appointments across the city, where waiting for a new taxi at each one costs more time than it saves money.

A common shape is four hours: Sagrada Família, a stop at Park Güell, lunch somewhere in Gràcia, then Montjuïc for the view before heading back. You set the order and change it as you go — nothing is fixed in advance except the start time.

For a full day out of town, six to eight hours covers Montserrat with time at the monastery, or a Penedès winery run with two or three stops. Entrance fees and tastings are yours to pay directly; the car, the driver, the fuel, the tolls and all the waiting are inside the hourly rate.
